ALAN WINDE, WESTERN CAPE PREMIER: A RECORD OF OUTREACH, PROMISES, AND A WAIT FOR ACTION

The correspondence on this page reflects a sustained and deeply personal appeal I made to Premier Alan Winde, urging him to intervene in a matter involving serious police misconduct, fabricated evidence, and the apparent weaponisation of the criminal justice system to serve private interests. These messages span months, and include comprehensive attachments, evidentiary files, audio clips, and video footage — all submitted in the hope of prompting a lawful, proportionate response.

What follows is not routine correspondence. These were urgent, carefully substantiated appeals, submitted in good faith — grounded in fact, law, and principle. The evidence was thorough. The intent was simple: to alert the Premier to a situation that should have triggered immediate concern within any functioning system of oversight.

To his credit, the Premier did respond initially. He acknowledged receipt and confirmed that the matter would be looked into. Multuple further contacts were made and further promises of action were received.

 

But after that first engagement, and the subseqiuent promises, there was silence. No clarity. No reply to follow-ups. No sign of inquiry.

 

And yet, I still hold out hope. Despite the time that has passed, I believe the Premier — and those in his office — retain the ability and responsibility to act. That possibility has not been foreclosed.
